WISC Saturday Science is a 6-week pilot program organized by
WISC in conjunction with the
Double Discovery Center. Funded by the Columbia NSEC, graduate student volunteers lead a hands-on lesson to (15) 7th graders from Wadleigh Secondary School and DDC programs each Saturday morning in the Havemeyer Labs. NSEC faculty spend time with the children through presentations and lunch sessions in order to help the graduate student volunteers introduce these inquiring minds to the nano-world. If you are interested in participating or simply want to observe the program, please contact
Bryte Kelly.
