The MRSEC operates and maintains a series of shared experimental facilities that are available to MRSEC members, other members of the local materials community, and to outside users. In the MRSEC Shared Instrument Facility, all instruments are operated and maintained solely by the MRSEC, while in the MRSEC-Affiliated Facilities, the instruments are operated and maintained with other groups on campus. (These affiliated facilities are designated by an *.) Please contact the MRSEC Shared Facilities Supervisor Lu Chen (212-854-0260) to learn of instrument availability, training sessions for instrument use, and user fees.
